Jennifer Weiss Wilkerson
Jennifer Weiss Wilkerson currently serves as the Vice President for Strategic and Business Planning for MedStar Health’s Baltimore division. Prior to that, she was the Vice President of Planning and Business Development at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital where she was responsible for strategic and business planning, new program development, marketing, physician relations, community outreach, volunteers and retail services. Prior to joining Good Samaritan, Ms. Wilkerson was a Manager at The Katz Consulting Group, Inc., a national health care strategic planning and management consulting firm. Ms. Wilkerson completed her administrative residency at Greater Baltimore Medical Center and also worked as an Associate for APACHE/National Health Advisors and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rochester.
Ms. Wilkerson earned her Master of Health Services Administration degree from The George Washington University. She also graduated from the University of Rochester where she double majored in Health & Society and Religion with a Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude and with high distinction.
Ms. Wilkerson is a past President of the Maryland Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development and is a Fellow of the American College of Health Care Executives. In addition to the Morgan Community Mile, she also serves on the boards of Roland Park Place, a continuing care retirement community, the Northeast Development Alliance, a community development corporation, and is the immediate past Chair of the George Washington University Health Services Management and Leadership Alumni Association. In 2006, she was honored as one of “40 Under 40” by the Baltimore Business Journal and in 2013 as a “Leading Women” award winner by The Daily Record.
